A large supermarket inventory project

A large supermarket introduced a third-party inventory project in order to solve the problems of inventory accuracy, objectivity and staff overtime.

Project difficulties

It is necessary to minimize the impact on normal operation, and because there are many and miscellaneous goods on the high-rise shelves in the mall, space limitations, forklift loading and unloading and inventory coordination need to be completed efficiently, so it is difficult to inventory.

Project process introduction

Through many consultations between RGIS operation team and customer headquarters, and a large number of on-site investigations and data collection and analysis in the early stage, a set of inventory procedures for this customer has been developed, and different inventory schemes have been designed and implemented for large, medium and small stores by making full use of the existing equipment resources and manpower of both sides. The inventory was successfully completed, and the accuracy and speed exceeded customer expectations.
